"It was terrifying," said Dan Carlin in an interview with KGTV. It sounds terrifying. He was posing for a picture of a large fish when a seal lion jumped up. The sea lion was likely after the fish, but it bit both the fish and Dan's hand. It then pulled him into the water.
"When the sea lion was taking me down and I was going at that rate of speed I knew I was going to die," said Carlin. He was underwater for 20 seconds before making it back to the surface.
