It was animal rights protestors and circus performers that got in a fist fight this past Friday in San Bernardino, California, at the Ramos Bros. Circus.
It started when the animal rights activists allegedly tried to force their way inside the circus, according to observers. The circus folk didn't like that at all and put up a fight. The ringmaster, Oliver Ramos, told a local TV station he was trying to stop the protestors from attacking his 68-year old uncle when a megaphone strike cut his lip.
“All of a sudden when I turned around one of them jumped on top of my uncle and they started beating on him and I reacted,” Ramos told a reporter. “When I pulled them off, they hit me with a megaphone in the face, and all these ladies started scratching me on the face.”
